Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her acting career with supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the character of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also played an appearance in FX's short-lived series The Ex List. She played a young Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the season's third. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of several characters from the comedy show Family Guy. She is currently voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she reached the age of 10, at which point her mother and she moved to California [1] where they lived for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue her acting career.
