
Harvey's career began as comedian. Harvey started his career as a comic in the late 1980s. He hosted Showtime at the Apollo, and The Steve Harvey Show in The WB. The show was then re-released as The Original Kings of Comedy after starring in his own Kings of Comedy Tour. In 2012, he hosted his last stand-up comedy show. Harvey has been host of the Family Feud host since 2010 and Celebrity Family Feud host ever since. Harvey also hosted Little Big Shots and Little Big Shots Forever Young. He hosts Harvey's Funderdome. His four books include his bestsellers Act Like a Lady and Think Like a Man. Steve Harvey Global was Harvey's entertainment business. It is home to East 112 productions as well as various other businesses. He launched an African edition of Family Feud and also invested in the HDNet merger together with Anthem Sports and Entertainment. Marjorie Harvey and Steve Harvey are the founding members of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation. It is a non-profit charity that has a focus on youth education. Harvey is a Daytime Emmy Award recipient seven times, a twice Marconi Award nominee, and fourteen times NAACP Image Award recipient in different category.
